My background uniquely prepared me for this journey. Before Christ, I was a Club and Event Promoter in Chicago for three years. That experience taught me the value of great DJs, effective event logistics, and, most importantly, my natural ability to bring people together. Now, I get to use those skills to build something eternal. [br] We set out to learn about Christian music in all genres—not just CCM and Gospel, but Hip Hop, Afrobeat, House, Lofi, Trap, and more. What we’re building is focused on Christ-centered culture. [br] Our core team of five people began meeting in November 2020. We incorporated in February 2021 and hosted our first event just three months later. We’ve since grown to host a variety of events, from Gospel House Music Brunches and Day Parties to Game Nights. [br] Our mission remains unwavering: to spread the Gospel and build a thriving Christian entertainment community that champions the musicians, DJs, producers, and artists who are creating this culture. A Message from Our Founder
ECKALEO was born from a moment of divine inspiration and a vision for a new kind of culture.The idea first struck me one morning around 1:30 AM. After two hours of worship, I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Do a music fest." As God spoke, the vision for an event unlike any other flashed before me. I searched for Christian music festivals but couldn't find anything that matched the scale and style of what I had just seen. In that moment, ECKALEO was born.
